In week 5 action:

  • Kramerica won their 3rd consecutive game, beating CSPJ for the first time since 2004. The career matchup is now tied at 3 wins each.
  • SaaBB won their fourth in a row, dropping DDT to a third straight loss in the process. DDT still leads the all-time series, 7-3, but SaaBB got the best of Tanning for the first time since 2004.
  • The Hip got their first win of the season while sending Camel Toe to their fourth straight defeat. The all-time matchup is now tied at 1 win a piece.
  • Double D improved to 4-1 with a 40-point victory over SIAP. DD has beaten SIAP four straight times and commands the career series, 5-3.
  • The Jedi Masters won their 3rd straight game to improve to 4-1, dropping Hedfullalicker to 1-4. The overall series is tied at 6 wins each, but Hedfullalicker had won the last three. Before this week, TJM’s only win over Hedfull since 2001 was a playoff win in 2004.
  • Post Mortem prevailed in the battle of unbeatens, dropping WBM to 4-1. WBM still leads the all-time matchup, 5-3, but has now lost to Post twice in a row.
  • Tappa Kegga Day got its first win of the season, handing Turd their third straight loss. TKD has now beaten Turd five straight times, and leads the series 9-7.

Week 5 Records & Milestones

  • CSPJ’s 41.48 point weekend is the fourth lowest score in Week 5 history.
  • Kramerica-CSPJ (94.29), TJM-Hedfullalicker (115.68), and SaaBB-DDT (125.9) are the 3rd, 8th and 10th lowest scoring games ever in week 5.
  • TKD’s 2.79 point win over Turd Ferguson is the 6th closest week 5 game.
  • Kenton Keith’s 30.8 point day for The Hip ranks as the 7th best starting player performance in a week 5 game in the Player Stat Era.

PFFL Survivor

Double D’s second high point week of the year also earned them Immunity for week 6. Meanwhile, CSPJ’s miserable performance got them booted right off of the PFFL Survivor island.

This week’s recap babe? She’s Supergirl. Laura Vandervoort (I think it’s a Canadian spelling) is playing Clark Kent’s cousin Supergirl on Smallville this season.
