  • CSPJ defeated Kramerica. Both teams moved to 4-3 on the year, and the all-time matchup is tied at 4 wins each.
  • Post Mortem dropped Camel Toe for the second time in their four career meetings. The 87.02 points scored by PM in the win? The most ever scored in a PM-CT matchup. The win is Mortem’s sixth in a row on the year.
  • Tappa Kegga Day lost their fifth straight game of the season, while The Jedi Masters improved to 3-4 (and 2-2 in division play) with a resounding 50 point win. The Jedis lead this series 9-7.
  • SIAP rose to 5-2 with a close win over The Hip. These two teams had played every season from 1997-2007, but took a break in their PFFL relationship last year. The Hip might wish it had stayed that way, as SIAP leads this matchup overall, 11-5.
  • SaaBB erupted with 132 points in a convincing defeat of Winning Beer Money. It’s SaaBB’s fourth straight win over WBM, good enough for a 7-5-1 series lead.
  • Turd Ferguson improved to 3-4 with a big win over DDT. Turd leads overall 5-3 in this matchup that had been inactive since 2006.
  • Double D extended their win streak to three games and moved into a tie for second in the Central with their third straight win over Hedfullalicker all-time.

joanna-krupa-sexiest-swimsuit-model-photos-2Week 8 Results

  • CSPJ moved into sole possession of first place in the East, handing defending champ TKD a sixth consecutive loss in the process. This is only CSPJ’s second win over TKD in 9 tries. Their first win was way back in 2003, in the first ever game between these clubs.
  • Turd Ferguson dropped Camel Toe as both teams moved to .500. This is Turd’s third straight win over Toe, giving them a 4-1 series lead.
  • The Hip improved to 3-5 with a win over 3-5 DDT. The Hip leads this matchup 8-6 and has won two straight over Tanning.
  • SaaBB has its first win streak of the season, winning their second consecutive game, this time over the Jedis. Both teams sit at 3-5. For SaaBB, this is their third straight “W” over the Jedis, and they lead the series 11-6.
  • Winners of four straight, Double D now sits alone in second in the Central, as they handed WBM a second straight loss in a game decided by 2 points. It’s DD’s second straight win over Beer Money, and it extends their all-time advantage to 6-2.
  • SIAP won their second straight game to open up a 2-game cushion in the West. Kramerica lost their second straight and now sits at .500. SIAP owns KI all-time, 7-2.
  • After handing Hedfullalicker a third straight loss, Post Mortem has now won seven straight. Mortem now has a 13-6 advantage over Hed all-time, leading up to their 20th meeting later this season.

Record Watch (weeks 7 & 8 )

Note: All player scoring records cover the period of 2004 to the present only

  • The Jedi Masters’ week 7 win was their 50th division win all-time. The Jedis are only the fourth team to hit this milestone, and they’ve reached it faster than Post Mortem, SIAP and Hedfullalicker. It took the Jedis only 86 division games to win 50.
  • Post Mortem’s 7-game win streak is tied for the 9th longest winning streak in PFFL history
  • Tappa Kegga Day’s 6-game loss streak is tied for 5th longest loss streak in a single season, and 10th longest overall (crossing seasons)
  • By getting like… one more point than Post Mortem this week, SIAP now has 19 high point weeks all-time. The next high point week by PM or SIAP will mark the first PFFL team to 20.

Eliminated – week 7: Camel Toe
Won Immunity – week 7: Double D

In week 7, Double D took their second straight immunity idol. Meanwhile, Camel Toe scored only 59.33 and was eliminated.

Eliminated – week 8: Tappa Kegga Day
Won Immunity – week 8: SIAP

This week, SIAP’s 1.43 point advantage over Post Mortem earned them high points and immunity for week 9. On the flip side, TKD’s 57.84 point performance earned them expulsion from PFFL Survivor.

Only six teams are left: SIAP, Post Mortem, Double D, The Hip, DDT and The Jedi Masters.

  • CSPJ erupted for almost 123 points, beating The Hip in a high-scoring affair. This is the second straight time (after last year’s week 11 109-106 win by The Hip) that these teams each scored 100+ in their matchup. CSPJ now leads the series, 4-3.
  • Camel Toe got back on the winning track, handing Tappa Kegga Day their fourth straight loss in the process. Camel Toe is now 4-0 in their division and 0-2 outside it. This is Camel’s first ever victory over TKD, in three tries.
  • Kramerica won their second consecutive game, dropping The Jedi Masters by 4 points. Eddie Royal scored two touchdowns on Monday night, but both were on returns and did not add to the Jedi point total. Bummer. The Masters still lead this all-time matchup, 7-4.
  • Winning Beer Money got back to .500 with a win over Turd Ferguson, losers of three straight. This continues WBM’s all-time dominance over Turd, to the tune of an 11-2 advantage. Turd had won the last meeting, in week 4 last year, but WBM has now won 8 of the last 9 meetings.
  • Double D cruised to victory with high points for the week, dropping SaaBB to 1-5. DD now holds a 4-3 all-time advantage over the Bowlers.
  • Post Mortem improved to 5-1 with their fifth straight win, handing SIAP their second straight loss and tying the career matchup with SIAP at 8 wins apiece.
  • DDT is .500 after winning their second consecutive game and dropping Hedfullalicker to 4-2. The win ends a two-game Hed winning streak in the all-time series, which is now tied at 6 wins each.

Record Watch

Note: All player scoring records cover the period of 2004 to the present only

  • The Hip’s 117.83 points is the 7th highest point total scored in a losing effort in PFFL history. It’s also the highest losing point total since 2007, and now gives The Hip 3 of the top 7 spots on the list.
  • Tom Brady’s 46 point output is the 7th highest total ever, and the most by a QB (the top 6 spots are all owned by running backs).
  • High Life has held the regular season winning percentage record for sometime, based on their 16-11-1 record in two seasons of play. With their win this week, Post Mortem has tied them with a .589 regular season victory percentage (102-71-1)
  • Double D now has 9 all-time high point weeks

PFFL Survivor

View the Current Survivor Standings

Eliminated: Sharp as a Bowling Ball
Won Immunity: Double D

SaaBB’s 60.27 point total made them the runaway winner of elimination from PFFL Survivor this week, while Double D’s 0.77 advantage over Post Mortem got them both weekly high points and immunity for week 7.

  • Double D took down CSPJ by 39 points to take a 4-2 all-time series lead.
  • Hedfullalicker won their third straight game, dropping Camel Toe to 3-2 in the process. Hed now leads this matchup, 4-2.
  • The Hip handed TKD its third consecutive loss, winning a high-scoring matchup by 16. TKD had won the last four meetings with TH, and still leads the series 8-5.
  • DDT destroyed The Jedi Masters by almost 60. This is DDT’s 2nd straight win over TJM, but the Jedis still lead all-time 5-4.
  • SIAP suffered their first loss of the season, falling to WBM by 46. The win by WBM is their 10th all-time over SIAP, in 16 tries.
  • Post Mortem extended their win streak to 4 games with a win over Turd Ferguson. Just like the WBM-SIAP series, Post now holds a 10-6 lead over Turd all-time, including winning the last three meetings.
  • Kramerica Industries improved to 3-2 (3-1 in division play) with a 35-point win over 1-4 SaaBB. With theirs 2nd straight win over SaaBB, Kramerica closes in on SaaBB’s all-time series lead, which is now at 6-5.

Record Watch

  • SIAP’s win streak to start the season ended at 4 wins, which keeps them tied for 6th best start in league history
  • Tappa Kegga Day became the 5th team in PFFL history to record 15,000 regular season points
  • Double D became the 12th team in PFFL history to win 50 regular season games. It took DD 89 games to reach the milestone, 4th fastest ever (behind DDT, Post Mortem and WBM, in that order)
  • CSPJ, on the other hand (and in the same game), became the 13th team all-time to record 50 regular season losses. They also accomplished the feat in 89 games, which is the 2nd fastest to 50 losses, behind only Kramerica, who did it in 80 games.

eliza-dushku-complex-03Highlights

  • CSPJ got back to .500 with a close win over Winning Beer Money, losers of three straight. WBM still leads this series 5-3-1.
  • Camel Toe improved to 3-1, and 3-0 in the division, with a victory over 1-3 The Hip. This is Toe’s first win over The Hip since their first meeting, in week 9 of the 2006 season, ending a three-game losing streak.
  • Post Mortem’s win streak is now at three games after an Antonio Gates-led win over Tappa Kegga Day, losers of two in a row. This is PM’s fourth straight win over TKD, extending their series lead to 7-3.
  • The Jedi Masters are 2-2 after winning a close, low-scoring game against Double D. The Jedis lead this matchup 7-2, including wins in the last four games.
  • SaaBB picked up their first win of the season, beating Turd Ferguson by 0.46 points. This is SaaBB’s third straight victory over Turd, giving them a 6-4 lead overall.
  • Hedfullalicker beat Kramerica by 61 to improve to 3-1. Their third straight win over KI gives Hed a 5-2 all-time matchup advantage.
  • SIAP continued their undefeated start to the season with a win over DDT. DDT had won three straight prior to this week, and still holds a lead in the career matchup, 7-4.

Record Watch

Note: All player scoring records cover the period of 2004 to the present only

  • Post Mortem became the first team in PFFL history to record 100 regular season wins.
  • SaaBB’s 0.46 point victory is the 8th smallest victory margin in league history. With DDT’s 0.35 point win in week 2, there are already two 2009 games in the top 10 closest games list.
  • SIAP’s 4-game win streak to start the season is tied for 6th best start to a season. They can move into a tie for 4th with a win in week 5. SIAP has started 4-0 once before, in 1997.
  • Obviously threatened by SIAP coming to within striking range of their career mark, Post Mortem’s high point week gives them 19.5 all-time.
  • SIAP became the fourth team in PFFL history to score 15,000 regular season points. They join Post Mortem, Hedfullalicker and The Hip in this exclusive club.
  • The 41 points put up by the 49ers’ defense for CSPJ this week is the second best performance by a defense, and best by a defense that was started. (DDT had Seattle’s 46 point performance on their bench in 2005)
  • The 27.4 points put up by Antonio Gates this week is tied for 5th most by a TE in a single game.
  • Kramerica’s 48.09 point output is the 4th fewest points ever scored in week 4
  • Hedfullalicker’s 61.68 point win over Kramerica is the 4th biggest blowout in week 4 history
  • 3 of the 11 closest games in PFFL Week 4 history occurred this week. SaaBB’s 0.46 point win is 2nd only to a 2002 tie. CSPJ’s 4.1 point win is 6th and TJM’s 4.92 point win is 8th on the list.
  • The 41 points scored by the 49er defense is the most points scored by any player at any position in a week 4 game.

olivia-wilde-nude-bikini-07Highlights

  • Post Mortem improved to 2-1 with a pedestrian win over CSPJ. It was PM’s fourth straight win over CS and improves their series advantage to 5-2.
  • Camel Toe had to sweat it out during that boring Monday night game, but held on to defeat The Jedi Masters in a close one. This is Toe’s first win over the Jedis in 4 tries.
  • SIAP took a 9-8 lead in their longstanding rivalry with Tappa Kegga Day. SIAP is now 3-0 on the season, while defending champ TKD falls to 2-1.
  • SaaBB is now 0-3 following a 35 point drubbing by previously winless The Hip. This all-time series is now tied at 9 wins each.
  • Hedfullalicker crushed WBM to improve to 2-1 on the year and tie their career matchup at 7 wins a piece.
  • Turd Ferguson picked up their first division win and handed Kramerica their first loss of 2009. Turd has now beat Kramerica two straight times and leads the career series, 5-4.
  • In a shootout, Double D picked up their first win of the year over DDT. Both teams are now 1-2, with DDT in worse shape since both losses are in the division. This is the first time DD has beaten DDT since week 10 of the 2003 season. DDT still leads the series 4-2.

Record Watch

Note: All player scoring records cover the period of 2004 to the present only

  • Double D won their 25th division game, making them the 12th team to reach the milestone. Taking 48 games to get there, they are tied for 9th quickest.
  • SIAP recorded their 18th career high point week, behind only Post Mortem’s 18.5 (there used to be some shared high point occurrences)
  • SIAP’s 125.26 points is the 9th most ever in a Week 3 game
  • The SIAP-TKD and DD-DDT matchups are the 7th and 8th highest scoring games, respectively, in week 3 history
  • Hedfullalicker’s 46.66 point win over WBM is the 10th largest victory margin ever in week 3

PFFL Survivor

View the Current Survivor Standings

Eliminated: Winning Beer Money
Won Immunity: SIAP

This was another wild week at the top and bottom of the weekly scoring list. In week 1, Turd Ferguson earned a quick Survivor ouster with low points, then returned in week 2 with league-wide high points. CSPJ earned immunity in week 2 with the highest point total after Turd. Well, it’s a good thing they had that on their side since they dropped a turd of their own this week with a 47-ish point game. Saved by immunity, CSPJ’s elimination instead went to Winning Beer Money whose 53.98 point total wasn’t much better. SIAP has immunity for week 4, making this a good week to take them on, I suppose.

keeley-hazell-bikini-calendar-06Highlights

  • CSPJ rode Chris Johnson’s big Sunday to their first win of the season. The win ended a two-game win streak over the smokers for the Jedis. Both teams are now 1-1 overall and in division play.
  • DDT picked up a 0.35 point win over Camel Toe in this week’s closest game. The win gives DDT a 2-1 advantage in their career matchup with CT.
  • Despite scoring the fourth lowest points of any team this week, and requiring a big Ronnie Brown night on Monday to do it, TKD improved to 2-0, handing Hedfullalicker their first loss of the season. TKD continues to dominate this all-time matchup, 11-4.
  • Turd Ferguson bounced back from an ugly week 1 with a huge win. In fact, they went from week 1 low points to week 2 high points. The Hip was not as lucky and dropped to 0-2. Turd now leads this series, 9-5.
  • Kramerica remained undefeated with a win over arch-rival Winning Beer Money. Kramerica now owns a 7-4 all-time lead over WBM including winning the last three straight.
  • Post Mortem used the momentum from last year’s playoff victory over Double D to beat the D’s in convincing fashion. DD is now 0-2 on the season, but can hold solace in the fact that they still lead the career matchup with Mortem, 8-3.
  • SIAP improved to 2-0, despite another relatively low scoring week. SaaBB was on the losing end of this one and falls to 0-2. This series is tied at 7 wins apiece.

  • Hedfullalicker and The Hip became the 2nd and 3rd teams to score 15,000 regular season points. They join Post Mortem in this exclusive club.
  • In PFFL all-time, Chris Johnson’s 49.4 point output is 2nd only to Adrian Peterson’s 50.5 point day in week 9 of 2007.

Eliminated: Hedfullalicker

There was a tight battle for elimination this week, with Hedfullalicker and TKD both entering Monday night’s game in jeopardy of league low points. TKD, however, had immunity, and later, Ronnie Brown, on their side. Hed was not so lucky. Meanwhile, Turd Ferguson’s high point week unfortunately happened while they were already off the island, so CSPJ gets the honor of week 3 immunity.

View the Week 2 GameCenter

amanda-seyfried-sep-01

Hey look, the NFL games have started. I suppose I should’ve written a preview by now, huh?

Matchups

  • CSPJ looks for their first win of the year against The Jedi Masters. TJM leads the series, 4-2, including sweeping their season series last year.
  • Camel Toe tries for win #2 as they take on Double D. These two teams played in the same division in 2007, the only times they’ve played. They each won a game.
  • In a battle of early undefeated teams, TKD takes on Hedfullalicker. TKD has dominated this series, 10-4, but has lost 2 of the last three matchups including a week 2 matchups against Hed last season.
  • The Hip and Turd Ferguson are both looking for their first win in their 14th career matchup. Turd leads the series, 8-5, but has lost 2 of the last three to The Hip, including a week 13 loss in 2008.
  • Winning Beer Money and Kramerica are both 1-0 heading into their matchup this week. Kramerica has dominated this matchup of late, winning 6 of the last 7 over WBM, good for a 6-4 all-time matchup lead.
  • Post Mortem and Double D both suffered tough losses in week 1. Double D has owned Mortem, winning 8 of their 10 meetings, but feel to PM in the first round of the playoffs last season.
  • 0-1 SaaBB meets up with 1-0 SIAP in the first of their two division games this year. SaaBB knocked SIAP out of the playoffs in round 1 last year, and holds a 7-6 career advantage over SIAP.

PFFL Survivor

Safe this Week: Tappa Kegga Day

PFFL-Approved Tunes

New to some of the writeups this year? Music. Some of you know that my tastes tend a little more to the indie/alternative world, so expect to see some bands/songs show up that you may not have ever heard of. But, I’m gonna start slow. This week’s song is “I Gotta Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas. I personally go hot and cold on them, but I like this song. Annnnnnnnnd, it was the song they chose to air in Lambeau at the end of the win over Chicago last Sunday night. I would be happy hearing this immediately following the other 5 home games in the “Green” package this season (oh, and a couple playoff games too).

  8. OPEN

Some Notes:

  • Tappa Kegga Day gets the easy nod as the top seed with their week one performance. Joe Flacco could be an unexpected breakout performer for this team. Now all they need to do is find a 4th guy in the RB/WR lineup.
  • Camel Toe would’ve been higher on this list given their impressive week one performance, but TKD’s high point week gives them the nod in the division, dropping Camel to the top wild card spot. This looks to be a very well-balanced team this year.
  • Double D looks to be back. Matt Ryan looks to be better than a one-year wonder. MJD gets a ton of touches. All they need to do is stop starting Ted Ginn. They win the Central.
  • Winning Beer Money won’t get 38 from their defense every week, and the McNabb injury is worrisome. So, despite a strong week 1 performance, I just can’t give them the West division. They’re a wild card at the moment, but better hope McNabb heals quickly.
  • The Jedi Masters got a win, but their lineup underperformed. I still think they’re strong enough to grab a wild card spot, but they might to look for more upside than LenWhale.
  • If CSPJ gets 6 TDs from Brees every week, they’ve got a shot to make this list. If not, they’re in trouble.
  • Post Mortem has a completely mundane lineup featuring guys who will get enough touches to score yardage points every week. If they don’t start scoring touchdowns though, the postseason just isn’t gonna happen.
  • Aaron Rodgers will have better fantasy weeks, and so will SIAP. LT’s ankle and Anthony Gonzalez’ injury situation are troublesome though.
  • Outside of Reggie Wayne, Hedfullalicker didn’t have much to get excited about in week 1, but they did get a win, so they’re one of the final wild cards by default
  • The eighth spot? Right now, I see SaaBB, DDT, SIAP and Post mortem as the teams with a shot there. (Sorry Turd, Hip and CSPJ).

Oh, and given that TKD won this thing last year? I sure hope I’m totally wrong.

Feel free to praise and/or rip apart this list in the comments…

megan-fox-gq-uk2-14Highlights

  • Camel Toe got their season off to a good start with a division win over CSPJ, ending a three game losing streak to the Smokers.
  • Tappa Kegga Day needed every single one of their weekly high point total to beat Double D. This was TKD’s third straight win over the D’s.
  • The Jedi Masters were one of three teams to win this week despite scoring fewer than 80 points. This was their fourth straight win over The Hip, and it ties the all-time series at five wins each.
  • Winning Beer Money rode the domination of the Eagles defense to a big opening week win over Post Mortem. WBM leads this series 6-3, but this is their first victory over PM since 2004.
  • SIAP notched the third lowest point total of the week. And won. Turd helped them out by having a terrible first game, as they dropped their fourth straight to the Pissers. SIAP leads this matchup 11-6.
  • Hedfullalicker just narrowly snuck by DDT, winning by 1.85 points. It’s Hed’s second straight win over DDT and gives ‘licker a 6-5 career matchup advantage.
  • In another close game, Kramerica beat SaaBB in the first week of the season for the second straight year. SaaBB hopes that it works out like last year and they get to face KI in the postseason.

Record Watch

Note: All player scoring records cover the period of 2004 to the present only

  • Hedfullalicker became the third team in PFFL history to win 50 division games. It took 95 games for Hed to accomplish the feat, only 5 fewer than Post Mortem and SIAP.
  • DDT is the 12th team in the league to lose 50 regular season games. Taking 113 games to reach the mark is a great accomplishment, tied for 2nd slowest time to lose 50 with SaaBB. SIAP took 116 games to lose this many.
  • The Eagles 38.7 point output is the most ever by a starting defense (the Seahawks scored 46 on DDT’s bench in 2005).
  • The 42.9 points by Drew Brees is the 7th most ever by a QB on a roster
  • Hedfullalicker beat DDT by 1.85 points. That seems like a close game right? Well, it’s actually the 7th closest week 1 game in PFFL history.
  • Drew Brees, Adrian Peterson and the Philly D posted the 1st, 3rd and 4th highest week 1 point totals ever (Tony Romo is 2nd on the list with his 2007 week 1 performance)

Eliminated: Turd Ferguson
Won Immunity: Tappa Kegga Day

TKD beat WBM by 0.6 points to claim immunity in the first week of PFFL Survivor. Turd Ferguson was not nearly as fortunate, as a league-low 53.5 point output got them kicked off in a hurry.

Recap Babe

Have you heard of Megan Fox? I hear she’s pretty. Some even say she’s the hottest girl on the planet. My guess is that she shows up on this blog again this year.

A little video clip from her new movie:

46b391641ff70Week 1 Matchups

  • CSPJ vs Camel Toe > The season kicks off with a battle between the only two zero-star rated franchises in the league. CSPJ leads this matchup 3-1, including wins in the last three meetings. CSPJ and Camel Toe have only played each other when they are in the same division, which they are again after taking a break last season.
  • Tappa Kegga Day vs Double D > These two teams square off in the season opener for the second straight season. TKD won that game last year en route to a season sweep of DD in divisional play and an eventual PFFL championship. However, Double D still leads the career matchup 7-3.
  • The Hip vs The Jedi Masters > Amazingly, this is the first season that finds The Hip and The Jedis in the same division, although they have played each other in all but two (2001 and 2005) of their seasons in the league. The Hip leads the overall series 5-4, but the Jedis have won the last three, including a 99.08 – 85.61 win in week 4 last year.
  • Winning Beer Money vs Post Mortem > This is only the 9th meeting between these two clubs (and only the third since 2004), another pair who have never resided in the same division (and don’t this year). WBM leads the series 5-3, but has lost the last two (in 2005 and 2007) by a combined score of 76 points.
  • Turd Ferguson vs SIAP > A rematch of last year’s semi-final matchup that saw SIAP win by 25 to earn a PFFL Super Bowl berth, this game kicks off the seventh divisional season series for these two clubs. SIAP holds an overall matchup lead 10-6, including wins in the last three meetings.
  • Hedfullalicker vs DDT > Hed and DDT were division mates for three straight seasons earlier this decade (2002-2004), but have been enjoying only single-game non-division matchups the last four years. Back in the same division, this game kicks off the season series. The all-time matchup is tied at 5 wins each, and the all-time division game matchup is tied at 3 wins each. Hedfullalicker beat DDT in week 11 last year by the score of 101.11 – 91.29, but hasn’t won consecutive games over DDT since 2002-2003.
  • Kramerica vs SaaBB > Kramerica kicked off their 2008 season with a low-scoring win over SaaBB, but SaaBB gained revenge in the first round of the playoffs, eliminating Kramerica with an 8-point win. SaaBB leads the career matchup 6-3.

Record Watch

Two teams are within striking distance of joining Post Mortem in the 15,000 regular season points club:

  • The Hip – 14911.16
  • Hedfullalicker – 14861.29

Two teams enter 2009 with 4-game win streaks in regular season action:

  • Hedfullalicker
  • Sharp as a Bowling Ball

PFFL Survivor

It’s week 1. No one has immunity. Lowest score will be eliminated. Highest score will be safe in week 2.

Preview Babe

This is Joey Davenport from the LA Temptations of the Lingerie Football League. (I wonder if there are fantasy leagues for that too?) Found her from this “50 Lingerie Football Players on Twitter” post. Her Twitter account is “protected” and I really don’t care what she’s tweeting about, but she’s on mySpace if you want to become her internet friend. Anyway, she’s hot.
