Boy, that sure didn’t settle much.
Two more teams clinched spots in the postseason this week as CSPJ and SIAP both hit the 8 win mark. CSPJ’s playoff spot comes with the added bonus of being a division champ. SIAP, on the other hand, has not yet clinched the West. One more team has been eliminated from postseason contention and another is all but out.
You can check out the “Playoffs” tab on the myFantasyLeague site at any time to see how the seeds in PFFL would work out if the season ended today. Also, the old PFFL site has a page for the Division Race and Wild Card Race but tiebreakers are only mildly applied there (i.e., they are wrong).
Clinched
- Post Mortem is the Central Division champ and the #1 overall seed
- CSPJ is the East Division champ and will be either the #2 or #3 seed, pending Week 14
- SIAP is in the playoffs, and could be as high as a #2 seed, or could be a wild card
OUT
- Tappa Kegga Day, ending a run of four straight postseason appearances
- The Hip
- Camel Toe has been eliminated from playoff contention. Their only chance to be part of a tiebreak is to win and have Turd, DDT and Hedfullalicker all lose. If that happens, however, Camel Toe would be eliminated due to head-to-head losses against all three.
If the playoffs started today, these would be your first round matchups:

Tiebreaker info:
- CSPJ owns the 2 seed over SIAP due to total points
- Kramerica beat Double D, so they get the seeding advantage in the wild card section of the bracket
- SaaBB is 1-0 against WBM, with a week 14 matchup looming.
- DDT owns the tiebreaker advantage over Hedfullalicker with a better division mark.
- Turd beat DDT, so Turd earns the 8th and final seed
Playoff Scenarios – Week 14
I make no guarantees on accuracy here, but here’s my attempt to decipher as much as I can.
- Post Mortem has already clinched the #1 seed.
- The Hip and Tappa Kegga Day have been eliminated from playoff contention.
- CSPJ is the East Division champ. If CSPJ beats TKD and doesn’t get outscored by more than 64 points by SIAP -OR- SIAP loses, CSPJ is the #2 seed
- SIAP is in the playoffs. If SIAP beats The Jedi Masters, they will be the West Division champs.
- If SIAP loses to the Jedis, things get complicated:
- If SaaBB beats WBM -AND- Kramerica beats Turd, there would be a three-way tie between SIAP, KI and SaaBB. SIAP would win that tiebreak based on a 3-1 head-to-head record
- If WBM beats SaaBB -AND- Turd beats Kramerica, there would be a tie between WBM and SIAP. WBM would win the division based on a season sweep of SIAP.
- If WBM beats SaaBB -AND- Kramerica beats Turd, there would be a three-way tie between SIAP, WBM and KI. They would all be 2-2 head-to-head, and would have identical 5-3 division marks, so this would go to total points. Currently, WBM leads this with 1185, KI is next with 1174 and SIAP has 1136. Anyone could win that.
- If SaaBB beats WBM -AND- Turd beats Kramerica, there would be a two-way tie between SIAP and SaaBB. They split their season series, and would have identical 5-3 division marks. This would also go to total points. SaaBB currently has 1166 and SIAP has 1136.
- Kramerica, Double D, SaaBB and Winning Beer Money are all in the playoffs if they win.
- Turd Ferguson is in the playoffs with a win due to head-to-head wins over both DDT and Hedfullalicker.
- DDT appears to be in with a win -AND- a SaaBB loss to WBM
- Hedfullalicker is most likely in the playoffs with a win -AND- a DDT loss to DD
- The Jedi Masters appear to have a remote shot at the final wild card spot. They would need the following to happen: TJM beats SIAP -AND- Turd, DDT and Hedfullicker all lose -AND- TJM outscores Turd by 53 points -AND- TJM outscores DDT by 47 points. So, it could happen, but for all intents and purposes, the Jedis are probably sitting out this postseason.
