Franchise Rating increases or decreases based on performance in a full season.
The amount of increase or decrease is based mainly on regular season wins, regular season points scored, with bonus points for winning a division title and playoff games.
All franchises enter the league with a One-Star Rating. Franchises cannot go below 0 (zero) stars or above 5 stars.
