Flannerys' 18 game regular season win streak comes to an end12 hits not enough to beat a tough Paulies Perfection team. Flannerys loses 6-5Short and sweet recap this week since this is a game that we'd all like to put in the rear view mirror. Flannerys fell behind 1-0 in the first inning, then tied the game in the third on a Patterson RBI that plated Buettner. Paulies Perfection took the lead back in the bottom of the inning, scoring two runs to go up 3-1. Flannerys would strike in the top of the 4th. Stecklein, Patterson and Waterfill all had 2-out RBI hits -- Waterfill's accounting for 2 of those. The 5-3 lead was short-lived, however, as PP scored 3 runs in the bottom of the inning to get to the final score of 6-5. Flannerys is back on the field next week at 8:15 against Lightning Larry. |
