Musical poetry for a free-for-all…

I’m on a poetry tangent today (see my site for details):

The local band I used to hate,
always plays ‘Jenny says’, at least in this state,
famous in the gulf south for good college rock,
the singer is the drummer around the clock,
a guess Cowboy Mouth listening is my fate.

    Cowboy Mouth is great!

    I actually met them backstage the last time they came to Milwaukee. Fred is super friendly.

    I’ve already got my calendar marked for their return trip to Summerfest this year — they’ve finally been given a headlining slot too, so they should be able to play a full set this year (last year, they were stuck with a 45-minute timeslot).
