Second of all, please have the balls to discuss the plot. Don't make predictions about the future if you are not going to back them up with textual evidence. Finally, Ishiguro's novel is actually very apropos. There is speculation in the scientific community that a human being has already been cloned. His purpose is to provoke thought right now about the implications of human cloning. We should not wait 100 years for such a horrificly inhumane situation similar to that described in the novel to become the norm. There are enough looming problems in the world today for us to sit back and allow another monstrously disgusting one to take hold. First of all, “imaginated” is not a word.
