As a former comic book geek, this edition of the Spiderman movie series looks pretty good. Sandman looks to be very well done, and the Venom/black costume/alien thing looks good as well.

So, Jennifer Aniston came over tonight and we watched movies.
Ha… Ok, notsomuch. Instead, I happened to watch two straight Jennifer Aniston movies that I had previously Tivo’d. First, I watched Along Came Polly. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the movie or not, since it seemed like it was going to be fairly chick-flick-ish, but as it turned out, I enjoyed it. Not in a Napoleon Dynamite or There’s Something About Mary or Office Space hilarious kind of way; but amusing nonetheless, with several laugh-out-loud moments.
Then, I watched The Good Girl, which was, ummm, wow, a lot more depressing…
If I was going to rank Aniston movie performances, my top choice would be Office Space. Despite the smallishness of her supporting role, she was really charming and funny in that flick. The performance I least enjoyed? Bruce Almighty. I just really didn’t enjoy that movie all that much - neat concept, but way too sappy and focused on the love story junk.
