One More Drink…

Posted by Paul on 15th May 2008

My sports blogging jaunt concluded this morning with another Daily Drink post.

It was fun, but a good deal of work. I don’t know if I’d have the discipline to do that everyday. Of course, that would potentially change if I were getting paid for it. :)

Music Links: Iron & Wine, Polyphonic Spree and Paste Blogs

Posted by Paul on 13th June 2007

My Old Kentucky Blog: New Iron & Wine: Boy With a Coin
The first track from the new Iron & Wine album due out this fall

gorilla vs bear: Raise Your Ears and Hold Onto Your Heart
Apparently they make trailers for documentaries that are included in special edition CDs now. This one is for the “making of” doc to be included in the Polyphonic Spree’s new album (out next week!)

Paste logo Yesterday was the first time I discovered that there were blogs associated with the Paste Magazine site! Some highlights in the articles I’ve seen thus far:
Andy Whitman’s Best Albums of the first 4.9 months of 2007
Andy Whitman: In search of the perfect playlist
Andy Whitman (one last time): 5-Star Albums of the New Millenium
Video Blog: Ryan Adams’ “Goodnight Rose”

…and in non-music news: Jeremy Happel was the first to blog about Justin Verlander’s no-hitter last night

Linkmania

Posted by Paul on 15th April 2006

Links from around this thing Al Gore invented

This set of links is both a collection of interesting stuff I’ve seen on the web this week and a test of this Structured Blogging functionality (which also has some applications for things like book and music reviews which I’ll be using soon).
