I’ve resisted the urge to get in on the Twitter bandwagon for quite a while. But with fantasy football season over and a bit of a holiday break, I decided to give it a whirl.
So far, my impressions:
My next step in this experiment will likely be trying to find some detail on people who are twittering successfully in some way that’s interesting to follow.
Do you use Twitter? If so, what for? If not, what would you use it for?

I saw this link on TechCrunch today. The tool is called Kwout. Essentially, it’s a way to quickly grab a screen capture of another website to then quote (or kwout) it on your own site (or Flickr).
That particular screen grab is from Deadspin. Wow, all kinds of exciting sports on tap tonight, eh?

If you use GMail as your email client (and if you don’t, you should!), here’s a great write-up on how to create a sharp-looking HTML signature for your emails: Rich HTML email signatures straight from Gmail
It requires the fantastic Better GMail Firefox (and if you’re not using Firefox, you should!) extension.

I’m a devoted Firefox fan, and with release of both Firefox 2.0 and Internet Explorer 7 over the last week, I realized just why that is. It’s because of the plugins.
The one plugin that I truly can’t live without is All-in-One Gestures but I use several others too that really improve the functionality of the internet browsing experience. So I was definitely interested in this post on TechCrunch regarding Mozilla’s new recommended add-ons page:
Techcrunch » Blog Archive » The New Mozilla Recommended Add-ons List: The Winners and the Losers
In fact, I’m posting this article using the Performancing extension, I’ve got GMail customized with two or three Greasemonkey scripts, and I’m digging the Download Statusbar.
So, get Firefox, try out some cool extensions. Maybe you’ll decide to never go back to IE too.
