I just added the Blogsy app to my iPad. The promise of the app is quite cool: a blogging platform built for a touchscreen device (as opposed to a port of a web-based app)

I’ve resisted the urge to get in on the Twitter bandwagon for quite a while. But with fantasy football season over and a bit of a holiday break, I decided to give it a whirl.

So far, my impressions:

It’s incredibly addictive. With the ability to update it via IM, text message or the web, it’s tempting to update it almost constantly.
I have absolutely no idea why anyone would want to hear about my life to this level of detail
There’s a pretty slick collection of widgets available to display your current twitter status on other websites. For example, check out the top of the right-hand column here to see my latest Twitter activity, plus a link to my page.

My next step in this experiment will likely be trying to find some detail on people who are twittering successfully in some way that’s interesting to follow.

Kwout – A brilliant way to quote

I saw this link on TechCrunch today. The tool is called Kwout. Essentially, it’s a way to quickly grab a screen capture of another website to then quote (or kwout) it on your own site (or Flickr).

That particular screen grab is from Deadspin. Wow, all kinds of exciting sports on tap tonight, eh?
